I'm a researcher and data scientist in Newcastle upon Tyne, with five years at Wellcome, one of the world's largest biomedical research funders, turning messy data into legible answers.

I also volunteer at the Star and Shadow Cinema and the Magic Hat Café, do patient involvement for the NHS, sharpen knives, and take photographs, mostly of Japan, and I find I'm most useful at that kind of scale, working alongside people to make things a bit more manageable.
